Multi-discipline artist Lainy Allison lives in Scotland. Her work is exhibited in galleries and non-profit art spaces and has numerous collectors of her work. Co-Founder of CAD (Contemporary Arts in Dunfermline) Lainy explores a range of materials and tools from sculpture, painting, textile designs to writing. Her work and images are extracted from an array of influences, history, culture, architecture, family, light, fire, water, organic and synthetic. With gesture, drawing out, layering, material and process, revelatory of each other, the making of the art is part of the content. Her art practice does not just become an image but a creation.
